Dan crafts Forrest, a Wyrmling Solar Dragon Trompe L'oeil. This costs 4000gp and 4 DTD. It is crafted with Craft (Alchemy) via Promethean Disciple. Take 10: 27 DC: 27 (5 Base + 7 CL + 5 Rushed + 5 Enter Image + 5 Animate Objects) Speed: 2000/day (1000gp + Rushed, x2) This regal dragon glows like the sun. Its burnished wings shimmer the color of flames, and a crown of horns decorates its head. -------------------- Solar Dragon, Wyrmling CR 5 XP 1,600 Solar dragon wyrmling (Pathfinder RPG Bestiary 4 68) LG Small dragon (fire) Init +7; Senses dragon senses, see in darkness; Perception +10 -------------------- Defense -------------------- AC 23, touch 14, flat-footed 15 (+3 Dex, +4 natural, +1 size, +5 armor) hp 71 (7d10+10+21) Fort +7, Ref +10, Will +7 Immune fire, paralysis, sleep Weaknesses vulnerability to cold -------------------- Offense -------------------- Speed 50 ft., fly 150 ft. -------------------- Special Abilities -------------------- Blindsense (60 feet) (Ex) Sense things and creatures without seeing them. Breath Weapon (40-ft line, 2d10 fire, Reflex DC 14 half, usable every 1d4 rounds) As a standard action, affect an area with elemental damage (Ref half). Channel Life (Su) Channeled positive energy can only heal the living. Darkvision (120 feet) You can see in the dark (black and white only). Dragon Senses (Ex) See four times as well as a human in dim light and twice as well in normal light. Fly (150 feet, Average) You can fly! Immunity to Fire You are immune to fire damage. Immunity to Paralysis You are immune to paralysis. Immunity to Sleep You are immune to sleep effects. Low-Light Vision See twice as far as a human in dim light, distinguishing color and detail. No Breath (Ex) The monster doesn't breathe and is immune to effects that require breathing. See in Darkness See perfectly in darkness of any kind, including magical darkness. Solar Dragon Channel Positive Energy 2d6 (5/day, DC 13) (Su) Positive energy heals the living and harms the undead; negative has the reverse effect. Starflight (Ex) In outer space, this creature can survive in the void and fly at incredible speed. Travel times vary based on the creature, but are usually given in terms of trips within a solar system and trips between solar systems. Vulnerability to Cold You are vulnerable (+50% damage) to Cold damage. Rejuvenation (Su): When a trompe l’oeil is destroyed, it reforms 2d4 days later on its original canvas (see page 243). The only way to permanently destroy a trompe l’oeil is to destroy the original canvas before the creature reforms. Autotelic (Ex): A trompe l’oeil uses its Charisma score in place of its Constitution score when calculating hit points, Fortitude saves, and any special ability that relies on Constitution (such as when calculating a breath weapon’s DC). Enter Painting (Su): As a standard action, a trompe l’oeil can enter a painting it touches. When it does so, its physical body disappears, and its image appears in the painting. The trompe l’oeil can use its normal senses and attempt Perception checks to notice anything occurring near the painting. While within a painting, the trompe l’oeil can talk and move anywhere within the picture or even temporarily alter it (such as by picking a flower in the painting). It cannot use any spells or other abilities while within an image. In addition, the trompe l’oeil gains the freeze universal monster ability to appear as part of the painting. The trompe l’oeil can leave the painting as a move action. Once it leaves the painting, the image immediately reverts to the appearance it had before the trompe l’oeil entered. If someone destroys or damages the painting, the trompe l’oeil is unharmed, but exits the image.
Dan also purchases a Masterwork Longspear for 308gp, an Alcheist's Lab for 200gp, a Heavy Wooden Shield for 7gp, a Wand of Cure Light Wounds (CL 1) for 750gp, and a Paladin's Wand of Lesser Restoration (CL 1) for 750gp. Dan has 680gp and 1 DTD remaining.
