Summary: The (unfortunate) adventurers wandered into a city that was seemingly abandoned! How awful! It seemed eerie at first, but after a quick look around they noticed that there were several bits of corpse and signs of cannibalism. Eventually they found out the town was attacked by the undead! Oh no. Pathetic zombies should be nothing compared to wonderful adventurers, right?

...unfooooortunately that wasn't the case. The adventurers followed the trail of zombies to a temple that the zombies were set up in. Only a few survivors were left, and... well. The adventurers tried their best! But luck was against them. After some (hilarious) failures, eventually the players managed to carve their way to a group of survivors. The survivors, of course, were completely useless. They had to carve a way back, which left everyone almost wounded and on death's door. But they survived!

Unfortunately, they didn't solve the problem of the undead.

Kirin, Grosh, Ryan, Cullyn, Yin, Betheslo, Wilybar and Sandfire go into the arena. They all walk out alive, although all but Betheslo will haven nightmares of morlocs, she just dreams of bad pronunciations.

All players receive 1,400 xp, 1,400 gp for a dam good show despite losing, and 5 downtime days.

Brings totals to 2,960 xp, 1,400 gp, and 10 downtime days. As part of his loot, Ryan recovers a +1 heavy steel shield (585 gp, bringing the total down to 815 gp).

Yin/Yang, Ryan, Bobo, and Bob Johnson all received an urgent calling from Tim, the president's #1 employee. He had apparently been kidnapped! These heroes rushed to his aid all for the sake of beating stuff up. They were transported to his last known location, and beat the absolute crud out of some guards in an office, before rescuing the president, and ziplining out of the office from a very anti-climatic explosion! They then agreed to follow the president's advice and head to a shwarma shop across the street to get some amazing grub, while Bobo and Bob each showed off their massive muscles. They stumbled in to the kitchen and helped themselves, which enraged the Samurai Delicatessen, who sicked his line cook ninjas upon the group. Through a matter of diplomacy, sheer strength, and a bit of Ryan's coin, they managed to survive the situation, and even leave with a bucket of shwarma. They made their way outside, and the president approached the first vessel he could find to ask for (Demand) passage back to dweormerstar. Bobo decided he was the captain rather than the actual captain, which annoyed the former. The captain offered for Bobo to be part of his crew, which he accepted, at which the president declared mutiny was afoot, and began to turn in to a were-shark! The group managed to punch the grating below them, and pin the beast prior to him biting any of them, and convinced him to sail them to dweormerstar. The captain agreed, and was so awed by Bob Johnson's physical strength that he burst free of his bonds, and showed off his own muscles. The captain offered to bite the president, who over time decided to agree, since Yin/Yang accepted, and he didn't want to appear weak on the S.S. Misogny. Ryan spent time with the captain to try and help him atone for his past sins, and made some progress with him.

Gold changes: 40gp from ryan for the shwarma shop disaster, plus an I.O.U. promising 100 gold additionally to help pay for the damage to the shop.
11 gold from Bob Johnson for some damn good shwarma.

Yin/Yang gained the lycanthropy template (were-shark), as well as the NPC president. The others refused or were too busy practicing their jet's and sharks routine.

Most if not all were anti-heros, so no points spent for wealth or anything like that.

Total Experience: 1487 exp for all the party members.
Total Gold: 900 gold each (100 less for ryan for the I.O.U. if he chooses to pay it.)

Ryan goes about purchasing the necessary capital (8 Goods, 7 Labour, costing 300 gp in total) and spends 5 downtime days finding a place and getting it properly furnished; it should be done by the next time he comes back from an adventure (15/20 construction days).

The dragon nears...

Ryan buys an eagle cape and an amulet of mighty fists (+1) from one Melamir for a grand total of 7,050 gp (4,450 gp for the cape, 2,600 gp for the amulet).

After a day on the town, Ryan returns to his place to find it fully staffed... his royal house sure works fast. (Spending 1 downtime day and buying 1 Goods, 2 Influence, 2 Labour for a total of 120 gp to gain 1 team of Lackeys (two butlers, two maids, and a cook); also hiring a Steward manager (Reginald; wages 2 gp/day).)

Reginald sets to work on arranging indoor plumbing for Ryan's residence. (Buying 3 Goods and 3 Labour for a total of 120 gp and spending it towards beginning construction of a Lavatory; 0/4 construction days.)
