Hello, this is partly a character-specific/class-specific question, but it can also be applied to other characters as well. Y'see, I'm playing a Tattooed Sorcerer, and at level 5 I'm going to take the "Inscribe Magical Tattoo" feat, giving herself additional magic tattoos as well as selling them to others. And since so many different GMs run this and it might end up being big for me and possibly others, I wanted to get some clarification on some vagueness in the rules.

Magical Tattoos are interesting wondrous items, because they're slotless while taking up a slot. For example, I could have a magical tattoo in my neck slot and wear a necklace, but I couldn't have 2 magical tattoos in my neck slot. My questions regarding this are as follows.
1. Can a magic tattoo be placed in the same slot a mundane tattoo already is in? For example, say Melati wants a Weapon Tattoo, which gets put on one arm. But both her arms are full sleeves. Would we be able to put the magical tattoo over the old tattoo, or work it in to the already there art, or would that tattoo need to be removed first?
2. Every time I get a bloodline spell, it says a tattoo manifests on my body.

Would my bloodline tattoo interfere with the magical tattoos & take up a slot? Or would they be able to share a slot somehow since it's not technically a tattoo from "inscribe magical tattoo" (so bloodline tattoo on one hand, spell tattoo on the other for skin space taken up, but they take up the tattoo slot for magical tattoo together for "hands")?
3. Though it's not listed in the feat itself, the feat Mage's Tattoo would, I assume, be a tattoo on my body that allows me to cast Mage Hand 3 times/day. Same question as the bloodline spell, does it interfere with magical tattoos & their slots? Because it's a feat and not inscribed as a wondrous item, I really hope it wouldn't, but I'm aware that I only have so much skin.

My other question is regarding Spell Tattoos.

Spell tattoos cost four times the price of the scroll they represent, which I think is insane even for a slotless scroll, since the tattoo itself is consumable (disappears after use). I get that it's still a spell completion item and will trigger an AoO, but the text states that "These tattoos appear as colorful and intricate patterns rather than magical writing," implying one does not need to be able to read it in the same way they'd need to read a scroll, and "A spell tattoo must be visible to the bearer and must be touched as part of its activation." I read that second part as that's all that's required for activation, but would there still be a mishap/consumption chance on failure like there is for a scroll? I'd just like to know for sure before I start selling them to people.
Thanks for taking the time to read & hopefully answer this. I know it's pretty specific, but I think it'd be fun if I could bring magical tattoos more into the game.
