During my time as a member of Blade and Bow I've made a number of useful tools and various documents that help with characters. This post serves as a one-stop shop for all of them, and will be updated as I make more. Whether you're a brand new player or a grizzled adventurer, I've got something for everyone. If you'd like me to make something in particular, or you have your own useful doodad you'd like to share with everyone, let me know on Discord~
Race Document: drive.google.com/open?id=1oQaJsYR8AXhzmbLS2MgLEUPZFpm815bIDod02McGxYQ
DS² Version: drive.google.com/open?id=1y28r4g42naDsqf7QXK4-wUxbd_G6EdhVpboLiP7kb-o
This document lists every race that is allowed in B&B and DS², as well as their basic stats (ability mods, size, speed, type/subtype). A "V" in the ability mods means that you can gain a +2 in any one of the ability scores that has a "V", whether because it's a part of the base race, like for Human, or because of an alternate racial trait, like for Kitsune. It is always updated as soon as a new race is allowed.
Caster Document: drive.google.com/open?id=17rkOGFOmrxjbNahRHM5Oif0Vq0_YF9oIh3WlulR3EKM
DS² Version: drive.google.com/open?id=1OH1P1R-26EgMjySoqDzCSLNisNmktIDKrnSfOLMHGmY
This document sorts casters and archetypes by casting method (prepared vs spontaneous), key ability score, casting type (arcane, divine, psychic, and alchemy), and casting level (4th level minor casters, 6th level half casters, and 9th level full casters). It also lists various classes and archetypes that get kinesis, and what key ability score their kinesis uses. The DS² version also lists manifesters, initiators, and veilweavers. I will attempt to keep this document as complete as possible. If you know of an archetype which changes key parts of the class that isn't in the document, please let me know on Discord.
Archetype Stacking: drive.google.com/open?id=1FJuYIFTHyzO2isq4MWc8zvezyZk4JkfS5S91ZhdarLU
CURRENTLY A WIP This spreadsheet is a list of archetypes and which class features they replace. It is useful for determining which archetypes are compatible with one another. I go through each archetype by hand to determine what is replaced and how, and many entries have notes on wording and official rulings. If a cell has a dark triangle in the upper right corner, mouse over it to see my notes. As I am personally inspecting each and every archetype, this particular document may take time to become complete. If you wish to help me with completing it, let me know on Discord.
Special Monk Character Sheet: drive.google.com/open?id=1xmemsx92KgFI_K4Sa6IFq7brRklKXlhf
This is a version of the standard B&B character sheet that I have altered to have a separate Monk AC section. Just select your Monk level and key ability score and the sheet will automatically calculate it for you. I've also altered it so Foxit doesn't throw a fit if you try to use it. So if you're having issues getting the standard sheet to work, give this one a try.
Psychic Duel Cheat Sheet: drive.google.com/open?id=1_77khHfudHD-eg_CXhBURBiaPtj4jU4i80Jjeei_g3U
This 2-page document has the quick and dirty rules for running a psychic duel. It's great to give to your players if you have some kind of psychic boss monster. It's also great to give to your DM right after you castSave or Learn a New Combat System Instigate Psychic Duel.
