I mean, if your character ends up in Dweomerstar, and wants to stay there, then certainly they can be played in Dweomerstar games. But they'll also have a pirate ship.
Boat Combat won't be like 100% of the campaign, but I'd imagine at least 1/3-1/2 will involve nautical nonsense in at least some capacity.

A man with claw-tipped fingers offers Furnius the sum of 7000 gold coins for the lovely headband he has on display.

So the idea is that this is going to be somewhat similar to the rats campaign, in that you should all be (theoretically) able to play regardless of who else is coming.
Ultimately, you'll all end up crewing your own ship, and elect (or mutiny, as you like) your officers and so on to their positions. It'll be fun!
You start at level 3 to represent the idea that your characters have some experience, they've seen some shit before. They're all nominally in this, whatever their alignments, to weaken or damage or snub or somehow impinge upon the image and actions of Infernal Cheliax (http://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Cheliax). Initially, your goal is to uncover the source of the Chelish navy's sudden upgrade in firepower, a mysterious island far to the north of Cheliax itself...

I mean if the title wasn't enough... I'm going to be running a campaign to unlock gunpowder/gunslingers within the world of Dweomerstar. Your characters would not be originally from the nation of Ar'vahl (Though I guess they COULD be, if you wanted to). Instead, you are all essentially freedom fighters sworn against the nation of Cheliax, on a mission to not only throw off the yoke of oppression the devilbinders have long hung around the neck of your people (Or just, y'know, cuz Chelaxians are assholes or whatever) but also to stop the production of powerful new armaments the Chelaxians have, per rumors, recently begun to procure. The campaign will be taking place in an island/nautical setting, and black powder/ships/siege engines/firearms/etc will obviously all be playing a part in the larger story. You may be pirates, you may be corsairs, you may simply be a group with a ship trying to find safe harbor. That's up to you. Your captain (and all shipboard positions) will be elected and maintained by players, outside of the very very VERY first ship you sail in on. No one is forcing you to take things like Profession: Sailor or Swim, but if you end up tossed into the briny deep by a rogue wave or wind up in naval combat with another vessel and don't have them, tough titties, I warned you in advance . Character creation will go as follows: -Basically all classes/archetypes are allowed, pending approval, EXCEPTING: Gunslingers (Archetypes that grant gunsmithing/firearms are A-Okay, just not a dedicated gunslinger as your group would essentially be those that catalyze others into becoming such individuals), Regular Summoners, and Anti-Paladins. Unchained Summoner is fine but no archetypes or anything and, please, for the love of god, be swift with your turns if you decide to play one. -We'll be starting at level 3, character creation will proceed as follows: Post a level 1 sheet to the Gunpowder subforum (under Character Creation), get it approved by me, then build up to third level and post again for final approval. Use standard wealth by level (3000 GP, for a level 3 character) and no items worth more than 2/3 your total wealth. -Standard Races, per Dweomerstar rules. Something to note is that Chelaxians view non-humans (and really, non-Chelaxians) as second-tier, at best, and are very, VERY into slavery/sacrifice to seal their pacts. -20 Point Buy, Hero Point rules (anti-heroes allowed), and typical 2 traits + one more if you take a drawback. Any questions? Ask me. We'll be starting in roughly two weeks (after I get back from drinking my liver to death in Cabo).

Gruul, Delios, Elidyr, and Syrii were sent to go do stuff with undead and an earthquake or something? I don't know. Then Delios and Gruul PSHEW teleported away and Sabrom and So'renas translocated in instead. That was cool. They went on to discover a bunch of books n stuff, lots of spells, and a really smelly necromancer who shattered bones. The day was won, yay.
Gruul and Delios receive 6400 XP, 6950 GP Sabrom and So'renas receive 12200 XP, 11300 GP Elidyr and Syrii receive 18600 XP, 18250 GP
All players gain an additional 6275 GP from hero point expenditures.
