Early in the morning Mikhail, Kix, Zephyr, Merilyn and Erin where handed letters inviting them to the Speedwagon Foundation. Once there they where greeted by Robert E. O. Speedwagon. He told the group that some valuable research had bean stolen from a facility by one of their employ. Due to the delicacy of the research stolen the couldn’t go to the guards and instead hired the Speedwagon Foundation which in turn was going to hire the adventures to make any possible association more difficult to find.
Mr. Speedwagon was not able to provide much information, but he was able to find out where the thief used to live and gave a detailed description of the thief.
The adventures decided to investigate the home of the thief in hopes of finding any clues that might lead them to his current whereabouts.
After a mostly unsuccessful conversation with the neighbors of the suspect, the party decided to break down the door of the apartment and after a short search Merilyn managed to find a short note with instructions to head to a local tavern after the packet had been obtained.
At the tavern the party managed to spot a man fitting the description of the thief, but instead of apprehending him Mikhail offered his service as a guard and they let him meet up with some other not so savory looking folks.
After a short conversation they all stared heading to some alleyways Mikhail following as the suspect told him to. The rest of the adventures tried following while not getting noticed but where not so successful as the thugs entered the ally they surrounded Mikhail and demanded to know who his friends where.
Soon a fight broke out. during the fight it almost looked like their target might get away with the packet but luckily Zephyr happened stroll down the ally where the thief was trying to make a getaway thru.
After all the thugs where taken out Zephyr immediately headed to the Speedwagon Foundation to return the packet.
Just as he entered the last ally on the way to the Speedwagon Foundation he was stopped by more bandits and another fight started just as the rest of the party arrived at the same ally.
After taking care of those bandits as well everyone entered the Speedwagon Foundation expecting a reward of a job well done. Sadly it wasn’t as easy as the first thought as Speedwagon explained to them that it was all for naught and kicked open the suitcase reviling a dog. He apparently was an illegal experiment and no one wanted him back as everyone employed by the research facility has bean arrested.
Zephyr receives the following rewards:

Every other player receives the following rewards:
Gold: 2050 gp
Xp: 1560 xp

Mikhail was voted for the Player of the Game of the first game and a Hero Point as his reward.
Erin spend a Hero point for wealth and Erin and Merilyn each gain 200 gp.
