Dagger to the D, arrow to the head

Yuen (Morrorrom), Higirorashi (higi), Pavu (DaemonSpecter), Xov (ManBearPig) were enjoying their dinner inside a tavern when they began hearing screams from outside. Suddenly the tavern doors burst open, revealing a beat up dwarf in the doorway. He began screaming "monste-" but was cut off as a longsword was plunged through his back. As he fell to the floor, a skeletal champion appeared behind him, holding a now bloodied longsword. It charged into the tavern closely followed by a swarm of other undead. The people of the tavern fled, but our heroes stood and fought the undead (except for Xov, who jumped out the back window). The undead were quickly dispatched and the group began following the tracks of the undead.

But sadly, our heroes are not trackers and they quickly lost the trail. So they made a visit to a rather sleepy mayor who pointed them in the right direction. They made their way to a nearby church which they quickly identified as the source of the undead and made their way inside. Inside they fought a few more undead and, with relative ease, killed them. They also found a priest of the church hiding inside the bathroom who healed them and told them about the undead. He also gave them a potion of detect secret doors as well as some scrolls. Using the potion, Xov found a secret staircase behind the pastor's lectern which led down to an underground burial chamber. 

As the players entered the burial chamber they saw two zombies standing side by side in front of them, behind them the was a platform on which stood a pedestal. Sitting on top of the pedestal was a strange evil magical artifact which was clearly the source of the undead. Scattered around the room were humanoid skeletons and one of an owlbear as well as a hole in the wall at the far end of the room. When the players came too close to the artifact the zombies began attacking, the skeletons came to life, and a young dragon burst from the hole in the wall. A great battle broke out between the two groups, 
Pavu was downed multiple times but managed to stabilize and survive the fight while Yuen and Xov destroyed most of the undead and Higirorashi his in the corner.

The fight ended when Yuen shoved his glaive into the stomach of the dragon, Xov stabbed it in the crotch with both his daggers and Higirorashi dealt the finishing blow with an arrow into the dragons head. Finally, Yuen channeled the power of Shelyn into the artifact, turning it to dust and destroying it for good.
