Dori, Mimi, Agiz, Zeke, and Gorem are hired to go to Dhandlin and help out with a bandit problem. On the way they stop in at a tavern in Riddleport for the night, buying drinks all round and enjoying their trip, talk with the owner and get some info about Dhandlin along with some helpful advice. Mimi didn't handle the drinks so well and was hungover the next day during the last bit of the trip to reach Dhandlin, they also were lucky enough to stay away from the mountain range and avoid what some thought to be dragon roars.
Upon reaching the town, it seemed to be abandoned, house were boarded up and no one in sight. After a bit of wandering around the start checking houses and listening for life. Finally some life was found, but the town folk seems very on edge and full of fear. With a bit of coaxing they find out that a group of bandits called The Blue Shirts were terrorizing the town and stealing everything. The group goes to the townhall and meets the with town leader and decide to check up on all of the rest of the villagers before going to the tavern of which The Blue Shirts so to hang out. After meeting the rest of the villagers and helping them out and earning their trust they go to take care of business. They surround the bar and enter from all sides, making quick work of The Blue Shirts, keeping one alive for questioning. This one was forced into giving up what information he had and a bit of his own sick desires.
They take the prison to the townhall then go to the farm where the farmer leads them to a secret cave that leads into the wizards manor. The group does not know the meaning of moving quietly and barge into a room of ready and waiting bugbears. Most of the group were stuck in back because of the narrow hallway, so the battle was long and hard fought but they managed to slay every last one. They next faced four more of The Blue Shirts but this group seem to have guns and with some poor positioning the group was once again stuck cramped up into the hallway. Finally making their way into the room they quickly dispatch the remaining members. Next they enter a room trying to act like new recruits but fail. This foe however was something that no one could identify, and a battle commenced. For some reason all but one member stood in a line in front of a side door, that was almost a fatal mistake because a wizard in the next room opened it up and released a devastating Burning hands. Now the pressure was on, they managed to take out both foes but not without 3 of the 5 members at deaths door and the other 2 nearly passed out themselves.
They find a mysterious note, the towns belongings and a captive family then return to town. Very Pleased the towns folk tell them about a few other rumors and offer them their rewards.
Everyone gains 2400 exp and 2700gp each and 5 DTD
Dori used a hero point to see 3 seconds into the future which was enough to prevent a critical hit upon herself
Mimi used a hero point to speak a few key words of motivation allowing Dori to make a Reroll on a reflex save
