All we wanted to do was learn! (It's time to stop these puns)

Four adventures known as Clockwork Croc, Dolomite, Greki, and Serenity all returning from another great
adventure decided to take a rest in a local pub called "The Anchor" but, upon entering the barkeep
recognized them as adventures and informed them that an elf was looking for some assistance upon
further examination they found out that the elf was seeking a book that was taken from him by a group of
"savages" as he called them. When going in the pointed direction they were met by two orcs searching
Through some papers that were left on the ground. Almost instantly combat erupted our "heroes"
raining victorious against the Orc and the Ratfolk that were hiding in the trees but, one ratfolk terrified
by the great Clockwork Croc and his many puns fled from the scenes, They also took two of the ratfolk
captive as they surrendered and they happily pointed our "heros" in the direction of their boss.
they followed the ratfolks' directions and came upon a bridge as Greki tried to cross he triggered their
planned ambush and he was a sitting duck for the ratfolk that opened fire on him downing him, but he
was able to heal and return to combat with the help of a teammate. They slaughtered all of the ratfolk and
orcs that were in their way. After this they decided to follow where two orcs came from and then they
saw it. The book that had been described to them as one member went to pick up the book a Ratling decided
from the tree dealing large amounts of damage and downing one of our heroes while his backup ratfolks
downed another. The ratling and ratfolks got cocky which was their downfall and our heroes were able
to fend off the ratling and ratfolks killing them all. Suddenly the elf from the inn appeared and
apologized for what they had to endure and provided them with some much needed healing and a teleport
back to the inn where he provided them with drinks and gave them pay but, they left those two rats dangling from the tree by their tails.. some say local children used them as pinatas.
