One day in Dweomerstar the skies blackened and large boulders rained on down on the city crushing many buildings and the western gate with large obsidian boulders. A few heroic citizens joined the guards to investigate the destruction. At the gate, the boulder cracked open spewing forth lava and strange creatures. They injured some guards before the heroes could step in to assist. When the beasts had been slain, one ran off toward the Stoney Mountains and the Guard Captain asked the heroes to pursue. The rag tag group arrived at Kayssix mountain, on the southern tip of the Stoney Mountains to find a large crater that appeared to have been created by a blast. The adventurers explored the cave finding more of the strange creatures, including a very large one, being directed by a fanatical cult member who was ready to die for his god. The group encountered 3 more cult members deeper in the cave but due to the damage they suffered at just one fully buffed fanatic, they decided to bravely run away and fight another day. The reported the happenings to the Guard Captain to be followed up. Certainly the Guard Captain will need brave adventurers to clear out the cave in the future.
