The Third Riddle, New Crew!
Hapshep, Jak, Yep, Fuerza, and Faolyn met with an agent of the Pathfinders who asked them to undertake a mission for the Society. They accepted and sailed to Sothis where they were sent into the desert to search for Colm Safan and the Ravenous Sphinx, an ancient Osirion legend. After repelling an attack of desert bandits who they later discovered with agents of the Aspis Consortium, they arrived at the recently excavated Ravenous Sphinx. Upon entering it, they found the body of Colm Safan, who apparently had triggered a scything blade trap which killed him. After deactivating the traps by using a warrior to run through them so as to trigger them and hurt him, they were given a riddle by the spirit of a long dead pharaoh. Three rooms awaited them and after successfully solving the puzzle each room posed, the party completed the task just in time to flee as the Sphinx collapsed around them.
The Pathfinders were quite happy with the information although saddened to learn of the death of their friend. Each party member receives 1800 xp, 1200 gp, and 5 Downtime days. DM Reward to Xathos.
