Greetings Pathfinders! Welcome to the Blade & Bow Pathfinder Society page. Here you will find information which will help you learn more about Pathfinder Society as well as the guideline for official Pathfinder Society characters. Please note that character sheets for use in Pathfinder Society must be registered on the Paizo Pathfinder Society website. The character sheets need to be posted here as well. You will also need to create a Paizo account if you have not already done so.
Society Character Registration
Character Creation is per Society rules as outlined in the current version of the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide. You can refer to this link via Google Drive or download it from Paizo as a free download.
Do not ask about deviating from the character creation rules. It is not permissible per PFS and that's that. I suggest using the regular character sheet we use in DS to keep things simple. Remember, characters created for PFS cannot switch back and forth between DS and PFS. Also, a legal PFS character can be used in any PFS play, not just here. You can use the characters in another PFS session ran by another DM, use them at a convention, etc., as long as the session of play is a legal PFS event.
Be sure to look over and select a FACTION. This is important.
Finally, no third party material is allowed in the PFS. We will be playing sessions from all nine seasons of PFS over time. The DMs are restricted to using only what is written down in the sessions while the players are only allowed to use the Pathfinder rules as well. Otherwise the balance of the game play would be seriously upset. Everything you need to create a character for use in PFS is available to you in the Guide and via the Pathfinder Resource Document (PRD).
Due to some discussion about Pathfinder classes created by Paizo, the use of Firearms are allowed in the PFS tables ran by Xathos. We are using the Emerging Guns rules from Ultimate Combat.
