Stone Cult smashed but not shattered.

Delios, Xavior, Gruul, Zander and Sabrom visted the Shady Tavern Inn and learned of a growing cult to the northwest warshipping a so called "Stone God". While trying to locate the cult, the crew came across a Wood Giant and his companions being attacked by a massive swarm of wasps. The giant gave Xavior his Swarmbane Clasp for saving him from the swarm and thanked the rest of the group. The giant told them what he knew of the cult to the northwest. Eventually, the party spotted a large figure flying in the sky and followed it to the cult temple. These heros had no problems dispatching the cultists and their gargoyles. They had little more trouble taking out the guardian of the alter, though Gruul did use a hero point to make sure he saved against Zanders fabalous light show.

When Sabrom opened the chest on the altar, he got a hit with the Lazurite Focus. Xavoir opened the chest with no problems and found a horde of gems worth 1000 platnium, 2000 extra gold for all.

The group reported back to the Shady Tavern Inn and the description they gave to Dante didn't sound like the Stone God he had been hearing about. Dante feared that this was not the end of the Stone Cult.
