This is in regards to the above mentioned test game.
Pros - Story: Zolar is great at RPing various characters, though most of all shady characters, lurking in the back alleys and red light districts, taverns and various other run-down establishments, which is a great feature for most games, athough drops off within the all games range since most of the adventures that 15+ characters participate usually involve outsiders and different planes, but I believe that may just be prejudice and am hoping that Zolar will, since he's got the ability to, change my mind on that topic. Consequently, he's also very good at structuring his stories, as well as branching them off into smaller subplots and with limited time available and almost no continuity that is a feat in itself. Encounters: Zolar used environmental effects that created obstacles that the players had to deal with, his monsters were thematic, but varied enough with various abilities from classical breath weapons to a hentai tentacle monster that tries to grab their opponents and giant worms coming out of the ground occupying large spaces. However, he's also brought in puzzles to the table, generally creating a very varied array of things to do for the players.
Cons - Story: None that were created by Zolar directly, however since the party ran with 2 members that have already visited the dungeon and were simply revisiting old rooms with everything respawned nothing could really evolve and they have trivialized a big part of the dungeon, were the parts they revisited already cleared as they have done previously or at least (more) different puzzles and situations for them to explore in the old rooms and possibly even some storyline that has been created through their rampage through the dungeon I think it'd have been more effective, but alas Zolar has decided to simply press the respawn button. Encounters: Simply put, the combat encounters didn't seem to have been made for 15+, since primarily CR 13 and below creatures were used and while some can still be a threat, a few buffs to them would have probably made them an actual challenge. Additionally, the party that has previously visited the dungeon trivialized all the encounters and pizzles since they were just redoing them instead of actually progressing, with that we simply repeated what the last party had done and not a lot of interesting things have happened. Generally, the dungeon didn't seem to have carried any impact from the previous party(according to them) which is disappointing and overall made the experience worse.
At last, while Zolar is shown to be very good at telling a story, this is no magnum opus, having a previous party be there has provided him with many new ventures he could've thrown at the party, for instance he could have made puzzles change or a cult of necromancers flood the dungeon to raise the dead creatures that have fallen within the dungeon, but instead has opted into supposedly simplying rerunning what he's had prepared previously. Additionally, the encounters felt lackluster since they were simply little to no threat to us and it generally felt like a slog.
Result: Fail

On their second session, Kargak was met with having to be very diplomatic, though this got him up to level 4!After that, they've found some bisons and found out there's been some Lions mauling said bisons, as such they stepped in and captured them and he subsequently became level 5.After that, he's taken his time to grow his kingdom, granting him a new form of transportation: Highways! All in all, he's made quite the money for himself.

Paragon is a Paragon, he would never dare to break a just law by editing a thread! Paragon also wishes to become a natrual weretiger once he's left low-level hell. This is Paragon, I'm sorry.
