MorningLight (Zolar), Sally (Sliebum), Helix (Hammy) and Torin (Alor) walked into the tavern of the singing phoenix without realizing it. They were told that every adventurer looking for opportunities ended up in here somehow and were offered a job.
It consisted of investigating a rumor about an Arcane Well of powerful magic that, rumor has it, would give eternal life to anyone who would immerse themselves in it. The problem was that the magic around the well attracted all kinds of monstrosities, anomalies, spirits and some other stuff, which they had to shovel through to find a way to the well.
First, they spent a tremendous amount of time trying not to die from a mostly destroyed bridge and four-armed gargoyle, MountainLight risked loosing his life a good numbers of times, nearly falling off the damaged bridge.
They encountered two ghastly beings mocking them and were challenged to solve a riddle in order for the ghosts to active the portal which was the only way towards the well. They solved it easily, although they quite literally were so spooked by the ghosts that most of the party ended up yellow in front and brown behind.
After reaching the well of power, a powerful monk fought a monstrous flesh golem before jumping straight into the well at the same time as MorningLight. The monk emerged first, completely transformed into a mummy lord, jewels, bands and riches all broken and turned into dust around him as he engaged the party. Mountainlight emerged after, having benefited from the well's power, or what was left of it. The party managed to defeat the mummy monk thanks to Helix's fire power (literally) after what they celebrated at the tavern.
Morninglight felt a bit sick, bands were tightly wrapped around his legs and arms and overnight he transformed into a mummy, unable to counter the process before it was completed.

His vulnerability is to electricity damage. As a consequence of being corrupted by the power of the well, his alignment shifts to chaotic evil.
