Game: bladeandbow.boards.net/thread/4968/woodsBahamut ran what I'd like to call an average game. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I'm not expecting storytelling on par with Lord of the Rings for test games. We got to talk with some nice NPCs, got to do some neat roleplaying (the part where we saved the wolves who lost their pups was something that I, as something of a nature spirit, particularly enjoyed) and we got to kick some butt. Many a butt was kicked, we saved a little girl and her mother (though we weren't in time to save anyone else, sadly) and best of all we got paid. Bahamut is good at thinking on his feet, he knows the rules, and he ran a good game. One thing that he needs to learn not to do is telling players what their characters are thinking or feeling. Unless someone is magically influencing a character, their thoughts are their own. It's a major faux pas to ASSUME DIRECT CONTROL like that. Overall: PASS

All in all I had fun, and I believe that Bahamut is an excellent GM, he had a well made game, and there was opportunity for both RP and combat.
Overall: Pass

Table Statistics: bladeandbow.boards.net/thread/4994/cave-wonderReview: Bahamut ran a smooth, immersive, interactive and overall, fun game. He did not use too many advanced rules so there were not any confusions as to said rules. But, he still found ways to challenge his players and allowed them to use their critical thinking skills to find creative solutions to the simple, yet deviously deceptive problems that he posed to them. He was not shy to convincingly and consistently roleplay the different NPCs and monsters in his game either, keeping true to their natural behaviors and personalities. I would very much recommend playing in his games and grant him my blessing to become a Game Master for Blade & Bow. Welcome Bahamut, to the K.K.K. (Kool Kids Korner.). Decision: Pass

Game: bladeandbow.boards.net/thread/4968/woodsDecision: Pass Bahamut game felt average, there wasn’t anything particular bad, but it felt pretty save in terms of story. He ran a pretty basic game in terms of motivation of the characters and overall setting. Mechanically he was solid, no problems in terms how the combat flowed. Bahamut resolved actions of NPCs at a good speed. The NPCs acted how you would expect them. Later in the game I even saw a bit more potential for some story stuff that may have been there in the back of his mind but didn’t get explored further. I would recommend having a bit more variety in the enemies as the encounters felt pretty similar besides the amount of enemies. Game: bladeandbow.boards.net/thread/4994/cave-wonderDecision: Pass At first I was worried that the game would be a repeat of the last game as we took on mostly the same encounters that we did last time. But after getting a bit further the game changed enough. It was still mostly a more basic game over all better than the last one. This mostly came from the fact that he encouraged a decent amount of RP by only directly inviting 1 PC to the adventure. The problem this caused is that it forced the PCs to more or less force them to find each other even if they didn’t have a 100% solid reason to ask that random person in the corner to join them. Overall I think he just need a bit more experience to make his stories come to live.
