N'kalah, the Shredder

Early in the morning N’kalah, Kellivas, Aaron and Don’zig where handed letters inviting them to the Speedwagon Foundation. Once there they were greeted by Robert E. O. Speedwagon. He told the group that some valuable research had been stolen from a facility by one of their employees. Due to the delicacy of the research stolen the couldn’t go to the guards and instead hired the Speedwagon Foundation which in turn was going to hire the adventures to make any possible association more difficult to find.
After gaining as much information from Mr Speedwagon as he was able to provide, which included a drawing of the person they where looking for, they decided to head to a bar the thief frequented.
When getting to the bar Kellivas decided to question the employees about the thief while the rest of the party looked for other clues close by. N’kalah actually noticed a man swiftly walking away as Kellivas continued his questioning. N’kalah also realized that it was the person they where looking for and immediately called Kellivas. Kellivas tried to stop the suspect without force but finally had to resort to grappling him, but as he did he swiftly found himself surrounded by unsavoury looking characters who started to beat him up. Letting go of the thief to defend himself he was soon knocked unconscious by the gunfire of the thief who after downing Kellivas took a boat in the channel to escape.
Don’zig was also knocked unconscious by a half-orc he decided to shoot.
When the battle finally ended an associate of the Speedwagon Foundation showed up to help the party back on their feet.
The party was soon able to track the thief to an ally next to the market. This time more prepared Kellivas drank his potion of enlarge person and went to town on the bandits. The thief the party was originally was after sadly was able to flee but not before dropping the suitcase which likely had the stolen research in it.
Not wanting to waste any more time the party decided to head back to the Speedwagon Foundation, ignoring the movement inside the suitcase.
Unluckily the party was cut off just as the entered the last ally in front of the Speedwagon Foundation by a mean looking orc who demanded the suitcase. Not wanting to give up so close to the end they readied for battle. As Kellivas took on the orc Aaron tried to delay the other thugs. Sadly both of them were soon knocked out and Don’zig decided to shoot the door of the Speedwagon Foundation.
As the door flew open Mr. Speedwagon took a step into the street, tipped his hat, and threw it at the orc. Sadly that was the last the party perceived of the fight as Don’zig was knocked unconscious as well.
When the adventures woke up the bandits where gone and Speedwagon looked really annoyed and explained to them that it was all for naught and kicked open the suitcase reviling a dog. He apparently was an illegal experiment and no one wanted him back as everyone employed by the research facility has been arrested.
