Nashiya Nahann is a confident woman, sure in her words and actions, though if you watch carefully, when she speaks poorly, or performs a task improperly, she flinches slightly. If you know anything about the world of Golarion, she’s from the deserts of Casmaron, the larges of Golarion’s 8 continents. More specifically she is from Qadira, the westernmost country of the empire of Kelesh, a land of immense wealth and the closest to the inner sea. Gold, silk, knowledge, and slaves flowed freely in the cities of Qadira. Nashiya experienced all of that through the lense of a slave for most of her life. She was sold into servitude at a young age by destitute parents, bought by a wealthy and politically savvy merchant and branded on her shoulder with his mark.
It was through observation, and a small bit of teaching in order to keep her from embarrassing him, that she learned her diplomatic skills, and even some small bits of magic, learning to channel the arcane energies through the silks that her master loved to drape her in to show off to guests. She was 19 when she’d finally had enough magic and skills to orchestrate her freedom. Through careful negotiations, a gregarious attitude, and one or two well placed charm spells, she was able to make enough friends in the right places for her to force her master to release her. The mark of freedom branded over her original mark.
From there she made her living as a diplomat and negotiator for organizations and even some criminal groups within the city. She spent her time smoothing over tensions between rival factions, between the law and criminals, or between bickering nobles, and getting paid handsomely to do it, adorning herself with silks and baubles whenever possible. She had decided to treat treat herself after a particularly difficult negotiation to a visit to a distant city that she had read of: a place called DwemerStar, a city of adventurers and magic. It was here that she found a peculiar flier, boasting of starting a new kingdom in a far off world. She decided to humor it, it had sounded interesting. And that was how Nashiya ended up becoming first the spymaster and then the Grand Diplomat for the newly formed nation of Vraedia.
Nashiya is average height and a slim build, with long, meticulously kept slightly curly black hair, which she only binds while riding. She hails from Qadira, which is sort of a middle eastern/Indian based country in Pathfinder’s world. She favors clothes and jewelry in similar style to those worn in her home country, even after moving to the new world. Her face is pretty, and she is often wearing some form of makeup to enhance her features.
