Proposed Pure RP Effect Society. Is it expensive, difficult and a tad complicated and no real value? maybe a little, but hey, that is Society.
Society: Nobility, Citizens Guilds, Underworld
The three factions of society have ten (10) ranks of stature with in their society. Rank may be sacrificed or stripped, however there is no regaining of Influence or wealth from the event.
To obtain these Societal Ranks requires great investiture of Influence Capital which will mean giving up some or all of your monetary rewards when acting on behalf of, or under the orders of, the Society you belong too. In table stats, players are allowed to spend their gold to purchase influence at the earned cost towards earning a Society Rank, this is called Tithing (Nobility), Dues (Guilds), or Kicking Up (Underworld), This amount must be 50% of their session gold or more in order to purchase Special Influence Capitol towards earning Rank. Monetary rewards sacrificed in this fashion will purchase Influence Capital at the "Earned" price of capitol (15gp each) and be put into a Special Influence Capitol pool you may not access except to earn a new rank. Influence Capital from other sources (Earning, Purchasing (30gp), Buildings, ect.) may also be placed into the Special Influence Capitol. DM rewards are valid to purchase Special Influence Capitol.
You may not skip ranks, so the rank costs are all cumulative. Once a PC earns a rank, he is granted it by the Society at a ceremony which usually happens, "off camera", unless the DM and Player agree they want to play it out, for whatever reason. All capital is considered to be permanently transferred to the Society upon promotion, where it seals your new authority. Your responsibilities, privileges, and authorities will be outlined for each rank and they are cumulative.
Primary Society Rank may not Exceed a Characters Hit Dice. A Character may join another Society as a secondary and another as a Tertiary. The Special Influence Capitol costs for a secondary Society is doubled and then trebled for a Tertiary Society chosen. Characters may not change the designation of Primary, secondary, or Tertiary once these progressions have begun. Even the Event of leaving or being removed from a society would not change these designates or costs. A PC may purchase Rank for a Cohort in the same fashion, however a cohort must remain at least one rank below.
For Each Society Rank Held, the PC must control at least one Room-or-Team. This is cumulative for all Society Ranks. This requirement doubles at the 10th rank, to a minimum of 20 rooms-or-teams. To achieve the 10th rank the PC must control a minimum of 20 rooms-or-teams.

Ranks six (6), and seven (7) and eight (8) are required to give 10% of awarded table stats directly to the coffers of the Characters Society. If a PC has these ranks in secondary and tertiary Societies, these must be paid as well and may be calculated in order and before purchasing Special Influence Capitol. If the players on the table stats includes a Society Member of ranks nine (9) or ten (10), the PC may choose to pay 5% directly to the highest rank of their Society or the 10% to the coffers. It is the duty of the ranking guild members to police these payments which go into the Coffers of Your Society. (Maybe we will do something with them later.) Coffers may be filled by obligation (Ranks 6,7,8) or may Donated to. Donations are noted separately for showing off. Coffers do not include the payments made for Special Influence.

The Noble ruling class of Ar'vahl is nothing less than an embrace of the motto of DwoemerStar: Light and Legacy. The Nobility is marked by an ultimate loyalty to the House of SpellSear and its Absolute Rule of Ar'vahl and its Magister This position is occupied by Sorbien Spellsear, an obscenely powerful arcane spellcaster who's true capacities remain unknown. To the rare person who has ever been within 50 feet of him, although he was once clearly an elf, he has become something more. His disdain for formality and pomp is never very well hidden, and he always demands to be called simply "My Lord", which is the absolute lowest form of address he can demand being an Emperor. Sorbien has been described as an affable, friendly, good-hearted sort, who genuinely cares about the well being, safety and happiness of his People. It is somewhat of an open secret that he actively controls the weather in Ar'vahl, preventing the elements from being capriciously cruel and the Temple of Gozreh actively chafes against this policy. Whenever they publicly voice their displeasure, Sorbien's response is always a very politely worded, "Shut up, or leave my Nation." His taming of the weather has made him dazzlingly popular with the People of Ar'vahl. (K6 Adjudicated NPC)
