Some DS rules and some Pathfinder rules are occasionally unclear, or sometimes there are multiple options presented and we have to choose one. Hopefully these FAQs will help you navigate through those decisions/clarifications we have come up with.
- How do I sign up for game here? How do I know what time and level the game is? - You simply need to make a character and have him/her approved. A DM will make a call in discord for players when he is available to run a game. He will either ask what levels are available or say what levels he is accepting.
-Do non-GMs get rewarded tablestats? Only if they are running a test game.
-Can a non-test game be retroactively decided to be a test game if sponsored by two observing Gms? No.
-Do past games (non-test games) retroactively earn GM rewards when a non-gm passes their GM tests? No. They are only given a GM reward for the tests they've taken. This is not to say that GMs don't earn GM rewards for canon non-test games they might run outside of their tier. Essentially GM reward is for GMs, and those attempting to become a GM via test.
-Failed GM tests still generate table stats so long as they adhered to the rules of Bladeandbow.
-Can I have lower level players outside of the level range I set for me session? Yes, but only to the minimum of that level tier. Make sure that they understand that their chances of failure/death significantly increase by doing so. It is also strongly recommended that you not allow players significantly lower than the range you set to upset the balance of gold/xp.
-Can I add a GM reward to a character i'm a creating? No.
-How do the Righteous Medals work from the Wrath of the Righteous adventure path? The medals are not compatible with our setting, and cannot be acquired.
-Do I start with any down time days? No.
-Can I acquire achievement feats and if so, how? Yes you can acquire achivement feats, you still have to meet their prerequisites though. To go about on tracking the prerequisite you should, at the start of a session, inform the GM who's running about what you're trying to acquire and ask him wether or not he wants to keep track of it or if you should keep track yourself. At last, after the session remind your GM to note down your progress in the table stats.
-I just got to level 6 without using my rebuild, can I still rebuild? As long as you haven't played with your level 6 character or joined a PbP game, then you're good to go, however as soon as you join a session with that character you'll have forfeited your rebuild.
