I dug around to the best of my ability (which may have missed some stuff) and was still somewhat confused about some stuff. Hope i can have these cleared up without looking too stupid.
Starting with 'other' first,
In character creation rules, it states that gunpowder is not allowed without the completion of a certain campaign. Since "gunpowder" and alchemical substance "black powder" are highly similar (the same), is "black powder" (and subsequently all items that require it, such as alchemical weapon "grenade" and "fireworks") disallowed in Ar'vahl until that campaign is completed? If disallowed, what restrictions (if any, such as only to character that passed campaign) are there after unlocking it via campaign?
For class "Investigator", there is an inspiration ability that adds 1d6 (or more, depending on level and abilities) to skill checks. With Ar'vahl crafting appearing to only allow taking 10's for the d20 roll, how would the inspiration ability be applied? Would it be, say, +1 per dice? Or perhaps "taking 10" with it and giving half of it's maximum bonus? Something else?
Magical Item Creation specifically states "A character can work on only one item at a time. If a character starts work on a new item, all materials used on the under-construction item are wasted." which makes me wonder if the same rule applies to mundane crafting? If no, is it possible to craft a mundane item without detriment while crafting a magical item?
Since tools of amazing manufacture has such a... thorough description, and the paizo forums are filled with... not much pushing it one way or another, and paizo FAQs not showing anything i can find... I was wondering what the Gods of Ar'vahl have to say about their use.
*When crafting an item like, say, acid flask at 10 gp base cost a pop, may I craft multiples of them, not to exceed 2,000 gp at the same time during this 1 hr period? Or even up to 1,000 gp in that 1 hr period leaving the rest of it to assemble multiple products? How about different items with the same DC (or lower)?
*Either way, this leaves 7 hours in the "normal" work day. Can this time now be used for other downtime activities, such as writing spells in spellbook/formula book, crafting magical items for 4 hours (rushed), earning gold (7/8), earning capital (7/8 to skill check rounded down.... or however the heck capital is earned), etc? If yes and there are restrictions that you can think of (or things I could do), please give some examples.
*If yes, does this include the usage of the same or another tool of manufacture for another hour slot? If no, skip next.
*If yes, if I was working on a mundane item with a value of over 2,000 gp and I used a different tool of manufacture, would I be able to continue working on that item in that day?
Thank you for your time and I sincerely apologize for the headache.

The wielder may take raw materials with a value equal to half the price of an object to be crafted, and produce a finished object in as little as 1 hour for an item with a final cost of 2,000 gp or less. For objects with a final cost of more than 2,000 gp, the wielder can perform 2,000 gp worth of work in a single hour, but only once each day. Only a single skill check is required to successfully complete the item
