Erenax is an aspiring Champion of Khorne. He leads the war band who also strive to receive the blessings of the Chaos gods.
If you would like to join the war band it is expected that your alignment will shift to 1 stage to evil every game you play and 1 stage to choatic ever 3 games you play, as the chaos gods only laws is to themselves and are deeply evil in the perspective of a neutral party.
Joining the war band is simple enough, you do not need to know Erenax, you do not need to meet Erenax, you do not even need to meet Erenax. You simply must be capable of traveling 8 hours a day and with a point in the right direction you will eventually find the war band. As long as you are capable of defeating a CR 2 Barbarian you will be welcomed into the ranks of the war band. This ritual usually requires you to be travelling alone or with one other if you travel with a group it will be assumed that you are a enemies and will be target by the full might of the war band unless you show signs of surrender and extremely early on bare your true intentions of joining the war band otherwise you surrender and your life will be accepted. I do not require you to have NPCs to travel with you but I encourage the vile leadership feat for no other reason than for role play purposes, adding to the size the war band.
While on the roster of the War band know that there is safety in numbers and is assumed that wherever you are so is Erenax and the rest of the war band. PCs are in some way in an position of recognition in the war band and should you fall in battle and your body is irrecoverable the GM need only role a 1d20 with a modifier of how fervent a prayer to the Chaos God you worship, on a 10+ the full might of the war band comes to rescue your body and you will pay for your own method of returning to life (assumed that your wealth was in the war band's treasure coffers), however if the GM rolls a result less than 10 your prayer is not heard or the Chaos Gods believe you are weak and deserving of death and the war band has no reason to aid you.
Note that you are in the company of the warband wherever your adventures lead you in some way some form some reason the war band had a reason to be there too though they should never be used in game for any reason than sited above, they should deter surprise sneak attacks especially by animals, because the war band is in every way imaginable an army.
